It is with the deepest regrets and sympathy that I report the loss of a New Jersey State Trooper Anthony Raspa.
Raspa, 24, was on patrol with Trooper Gene Hong, 29, on Interstate 195 near mile marker 9 when their car hit a deer at about 12:48 a.m. Saturday.
This hero was taken from us in a car accident with a deer on Rt 195 in Freehold. The Trooper Hong in the car survived and was released from the hospital. Our prayers and condolences are with our NJ State Trooper Family in blue. To the trooper family we extend our condolences, for hero you gave us in the Law Enforcement Community. May he Rest In Peace
