(Hamilton, NJ) Brothers and Sisters, this year the full New Jersey Assembly is up for election. That’s 80 seats of the 120 who serve in the New Jersey Legislature. The Senate is not up for election until 2017. NJFOP Board of Trustees held its September 23rd meeting at Hibernian Club in Hamilton, New Jersey and endorsed 62 candidates for this year’s Assembly races. Sixty-one (61) of our endorsements are for the Assembly and one for the Senate. Forty-one of the total responses were incumbents.
NJFOP is pleased to announce that our endorsements reflect a bipartisan line-up of candidates: 20 Republicans and 42 Democrats. We strongly urge our members to register to vote and support our endorsed candidates at the polls on Tuesday, November 3rd.
