The New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police has denounced and wholly condemned recent anti-police statements made by film director Quentin Tarantino.

NJFOP President Robert W. Fox is calling on his members to boycott Tarantino’s films, including his Christmas-bound Western The Hateful Eight.

“Our brothers and sisters put their lives on the line everyday,” says Fox. “We do not deserve to have a movie director grandstanding by espousing words of hatred and untruths about our officers.”

Fox continues, “We commend Tarantino’s father for his courage in repudiating his son’s unfair characterization of police.”

NJFOP strongly calls on Tarantino to apologize to law enforcement officers across this country. His insensitivity has insulted every committed, dedicated officer in America. Shame, shame on you, Tarantino.
