Yesterday, Senate Bill No. 1447 passed the Senate by a 36-0 vote. The bill is now headed directly to the Assembly for a floor vote. (TRENTON) Yesterday the New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police President Robert W. Fox made it clear that his members have not signed off on nor agreed with the alleged deal struck between Governor Chris Christie and the NJEA. “The NJEA does not speak for or make deals for the police regarding our pensions and health benefits,” said Fox.
