  • Legislature will vote on Ammunition Bill Monday-Dec 17th

      Due to the efforts of  the State FOP and other law enforcement organizations, S-2846, will now be voted on this Monday, Dec 17th. It will pass and then go to the Governor for his expected signature. This bill concerns law enforcement officers’ ability to possess and carry certain ammunition magazines.  It will correct the number of rounds police officers can carry as required in a newly-enacted law.

    The New Jersey FOP Holiday Toy Express rode into Mount Holly, NJ on Monday December 3, 2018 and delivered over 150 Toys to The Legacy Foundation Children’s Home. The Legacy Foundation provided a rich history of youth services ranging from Special Education to Acute Residential Care, they change the behavioral and social services for children and young adults from surviving to thriving.

    This week  NJ Advance Media released The Force Report, allegedly a 16-month investigation of disparities in how police use force.  Just as the State, advocacy groups, and other media outlets are analyzing this data, so is the New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police.     On November 8th, the 26th Annual Newark Blue Mass was held at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart. His Eminence Cardinal Joseph Tobin conducted the mass for 500 over persons in attendance from the Law Enforcement.   • NJFOP Toy Express kicked off Saturday, Nov. 10

    Our New Jersey State FOP Holiday Toy Drive kicked off this Saturday 11/10/18 with our pick-up of over 500 from the Pennsylvania State Lodge. The NJFOP Toy Express expect to deliver toys throughout the State to children in need and charitable programs which do the same. A special thanks goes out to National Trustee Jimmy Harrity who is the coordinator of the program for the Pennsylvania State Lodge.
